Luxury Washable Wool Duvets Made in the UK

Our new luxury washable wool duvets are made in the UK from the finest British Cheviot wool, covered in the same high thread count cotton we use on our natural wool duvets. An organic cotton duvet cover is also available if required. Our washable wool duvets can be machine washed.

To craft a wool duvet that is truly washable – tested up to 50 washes – the wool has to undergo a treatment that stops the wool from felting. The wool in the duvets has undergone a treatment that is used in the manufacture of fibres for tea bags, so it is inherently safe. This treatment also removes the lanolin smell sometimes associated with wool products.

Making Luxury Washable Wool Duvets

Expertly made in the UK, our new washable wool duvets are made using multiple layers of wool that give the duvet loft for the ultimate comfort and luxury in a wool duvet.

The wool fill in the washable duvet is layered in up to 40 separate layers, depending on the desired weight, to produce the loft and luxury of this wool duvet. The wool is then encased in high thread count 100% cotton. The expert, quilting structure of the duvet also ensures an even and durable fill for the life of the duvet.

The wool duvets are made in small batches to the correct tog weight and are available in spring, summer/autumn and winter weights. The medium weight washable wool duvet has an equivalent rating of 7.5 TOG.
